DMSO Gel 90% is applied topically on the skin to reduce joint inflammation and swelling in dogs and horses. It helps relieve pain from injuries, osteoarthritis or autoimmune disorders. DMSO also helps other medications through the skin and mucus membranes, and is sometimes used to treat cerebral edema. DMSO works as an effective pain killer by blocking the nerve conduction fibers that produce pain. Dimethyl sulfoxide is a white liquid that comes from lignin, a natural substance that bonds together the cells of trees. Lignin is extracted during the manufacturing of pulp and then processed. DMSO is therefore an organic and non-synthesized product. DMSO is also pyrogen- and acetone-free.

Indications for use

DMSO Gel 90% reduces joint inflammation and swelling in dogs and horses. It helps relieve pain from injuries, osteoarthritis or autoimmune disorders. DMSO also helps other medications through the skin and mucus membranes, and is sometimes used to treat cerebral edema.

DMSO is used as an anti-inflammatory, an osmotic diuretic and a solvent. DMSO readily penetrates all body tissues including intact skin.

Administration and dosage

Use as directed by your Veterinarian. Always wear gloves when applying.

DMSO Gel is to be administered topically to the skin over the affected area. Horses - Liberal application should be administered two to three times daily. Total daily dosage should not exceed 100 g. Total duration of therapy should not exceed 30 days.
