Product description

BioHex Shampoo is a soap-free antiseptic shampoo for cats and dogs. This shampoo combines a proprietary formulation of Chlorhexidine, Miconazole and MicroSilver BG™ for enhanced antiseptic activity and Ceramide Ill.

  • MicroSilver BG™ neutralizes harmful microorganisms and gently repairs damaged skin.

  • Ceramide Ill helps support healthy skin by supporting the renewal of the skin’s natural protective layer and forming an effective barrier against moisture loss.

Active ingredients

Chlorhexidine Digluconate 2% and Miconazole Nitrate 2%.

Inactive ingredients: Purified Water, Decyl Polyglucoside, Cetrimonium Chloride, Sodium Alpha Olefin Sulfonate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Octoxynol 10, Laureth-12, PEG-120 Methyl Glucose Dioleate, Disteareth-75 IPDI, Glycereth-7 Caprylate/Caprate, Ethylene Glycol Distearate, Fragrance, Titanium Dioxide (and) Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Polysorbate-80, Sodium Hydroxide, MicroSilver and N-Octadecanoylphytosphingosine (Ceramide Ill).

Indications for use

BioHex Shampoo is a soap-free antiseptic shampoo for cats and dogs indicated for use in conditions responsive to chlorhexidine and/or miconazole.

Administration and dosage

Shake well before use. Wet the hair coat with warm water and apply small quantities of the shampoo from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Massage shampoo over pets body to ensure good contact with the skin. Allow to remain on hair for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean water and repeat. May be used initially 2 to 3 times a week for four weeks, then reduce use to once a week, or as directed by your veterinarian. Do not allow the animal to lick while bathing to prevent ingestion.
