Product description

Carprovet is prescribed to relieve pain and inflammation for dogs suffering from osteoarthritis or to control pain after they went through orthopedic or soft tissue surgery. Carprovet contains Carprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication that works by inhibiting the hormones which generate chemical reactions in the body that are responsible for pain and inflammation. Carprovet can help increase your dog’s mobility and activity levels by reducing his pain and discomfort.

Available in 25 mg, 75 mg, and 100 mg in conveniently sized, beef-flavored, scored tablets in 60 and 180 count bottles

Administration and dosage

  • Carprovet Flavored Tablets should be given according to your veterinarian’s instructions. Your veterinarian will tell you what amount is right for your dog and for how long it should be given.

  • Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration consistent with individual response. The recommended dosage for oral administration to dogs is 2 mg/lb(4.4 mg/kg) of body weight daily. The total daily dose may be administered as 2 mg/lb of body weight once daily or divided and administered as 1 mg/lb (2.2 mg/kg) twice daily. For the control of postoperative pain, administer approximately 2 hours before the procedure. Tablets are scored and dosage should be calculated in half-tablet increments.
