Product description

Vetropolycin HC is a sterile antibacterial ointment for cats and dogs.

Active ingredients

Each gram of Vetropolycin HC contains:

• Bacitracin Zinc 400 units
• Neomycin Sulfate 5 mg (equivalent to 3.5 mg of Neomycin base)
• Polymyxin B Sulfate 10,000 units
• Hydrocortisone acetate, 1%
• Base of White Petrolatum and Mineral Oil

Indications for use

Vetropolycin HC is indicated in the treatment of in acute or chronic conjunctivitis, when caused by organisms susceptible to the antibiotics contained in this ointment in cats and dogs.

Administration and dosage

• Apply a thin lm over the cornea three to four times daily in dogs and cats.
• The area should be properly cleansed prior to the use of the Vetropolycin HC (bacitracin-neomycin-polymyxin) veterinary ophthalmic ointment.
• Foreign bodies, crusted exudates, and debris should be carefully removed.
