Cool Cast is an emollient leg bandage for use in horses.

Active ingredients

Each bandage of Cool Cast contains:

• Active ingredients:

  • Glycerine 36 gm
  • Zinc Oxide 16.5 gm
  • Calamine 13.2 gm
  • Menthol 0.05 gm

• Other ingredients:

  • Gelatin, Fumed Silica, and preservatives.

Indications for use

Cool Cast is:

• a medicated leg bandage for horses to be used as an aid to reduce inflammation, swelling and tenderness.
• useful for strains and injuries and as a light support following intra-articular injections.
  • a complementary aid to other conventional forms of anti-inflammatory treatment.

Administration and dosage

• Wrap Cool Cast on leg uniformly, making sure not to pull the bandage tight.
• Smooth out with palm of hand and let set.
• Do not use over open sores or where excessive swelling persists.
